It appears there’s actually no state of utopia in the world as the US capital, Washington D.C., got hit earlier today by some bizarre power outage.
Quoting CNN;
“The widespread power outages hit across Washington, D.C on Tuesday, affecting government and privately-owned buildings and the city’s public transit rail system intermittently early in the afternoon”.

Triggered by a little explosion and then fire at a power substation in Southern Maryland, the outage has affected about 2,000 persons doing business in the Washington neighborhood, sources say.
A host of persons were trapped in elevators, as underground Metro stations were a chaotic scene with commuters scurrying for sight and safety.
The Washington Post reports that “a piece of metal broke loose and fell off a power line 43 miles from D.C. temporarily knock[ing] out electricity to the White House, State Department and wide swaths of the nation’s capital and its Maryland suburbs.”
In the rush for some light, and safety and the actual reasons behind the sudden power surge, speculations started building amongst the citizens that the incident could be connected to a terrorist attack. But local officials have been quick to dispel the rumors.
Washington Post reports further;
“Two hours after lights flickered off across much of the city — and after power to most buildings had been restored — homeland security officials both locally and nationally said they were increasingly confident terrorism played no part.”
“Early indications are that there is no apparent link to terrorism,” a U.S. official reportedly says.

There is this news that an underground gay po*n movie industry in Ghana
is festering and it’s participants are mostly male students who are
university students and jobless young men.
The report by Starrfmonline.com revealed that, this has been started by
foreign producers and their Ghanaian partners.
The shocking news about this whole thing is that, 10 students have been
identified as University of Ghana students who have engaged in this gay
po*n.
These desperate students were lured by a Ghanaian producer who resides
at the Christian Village in Acca and his white foreign producer.
Students are not the only ones who are used but also illiterate young
men as well.
StarrFMonline.com discovered during the undercover investigations that
each member of the gay porn cast was promised Gh¢4,500 for the shooting.
Black4Blacks Productions, producers of the gay porn movies, according to
our investigations, however, failed to live up to its promise by paying
the cast less than half of the agreed fees – Gh¢2,000 – a situation,
which led to frosty relations between the two parties.
In the graphic videos, the g*y po*n actors are seen kissing, car**sing,
f*ndling, l*cking and pen*trating each other in what StarrFMonline.com
discovered were shot at specifically rented apartments in the Ivorian
capital Abidjan and within the Spintex enclave in Accra.

Without knowing he was being recorded, one of the gay actors [name
withheld]– a plumber who spoke in the local Twi language – narrated the
entire story at a rendezvous in Accra. He admitted having gay sex with
one of the University of Ghana students in the movies but said the
student he acted with is not his real life sex partner.

According to him, the producers and directors promised that the videos
will not be released in Africa and could only be watched by credit card
holders.

The Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale in a heart-felt post on his social
media account, has decided to stop pursuing dancehall music and go into
full time journalism.
In his post on his Facebook post, the 2014 Artiste of the year winner,
mentioned that, his reason for going into journalism is because, he
believes the Ghanaian media does not know anything about their job.
He attributed it to false publications that had been made about him in
the past and recently and thus, he want to be a role model, all
journalists can look up to when making a reportage.
The news came as a shock to most of his fans, who loved his music so
much, but the one who was more shocked than ever was his manger Bull
Dog.
